July 21, 2026. Borgarnes. Iceland, Day 27. I picked up a rental car to transfer all my stuff to the airport in time for my morning flight Thursday, retrieved my trailer, then kept heading away from the city for as much time as I had, which got me to Borgarnes and one last beautiful mountain shot. #SDDaily. July 13, 2025. These are the tracks at Boundary Road a few kilometers west of Avonmore. I wanted to go on a longer ride today, despite the heat. Stopped for a nice lunch at Rockin' Rondas in Avonmore, then had to race the rain on the way back. The rain won. As I stood there in the middle of the gale about 13 km from home, a guy from a nearby farm stopped and offered me a lift. Sweltering

July 12, 2025. A scene on the road just north of St. Albert on my usual cycling loop. Back from Mont Tremblant. Got out for a short ride in some very hot temperatures. I noted to myself that I've reached the point where cycling is actually effortless. P.S.
