Let's Make Some Art, Dammit

February 20, 2024. Where the tracks cross the side road, just outside town, as seen on my daily walk. It wasn't quite as dark as depicted here but I wanted to emphasize the clouds and the afternoon sunset. Today was another full day working on my literature review; it's almost done and really is in the process of final crafting. January 4, 2024. We had some blue sky and sun today, which I wanted to capture in a photo, but I was in the office until almost sunset, so the trees were all a red orange, as seen in the photo. Still learning the new camera; it's about as good as cameras get, but it will be some time before I can really get everything out of it that it has to offer. I do love how deep and rich the colours are though. Today I worked on cloud technology, and Clourdon in particular, and also a new (to me) notes application, Trilium. https://flic.kr/p/2pqve59

December 20, 2017. The sun set today at 4:20 pm. This is after that. It's a 'false sunset' - an image of the sun that appears because of a refraction of the sun in ice crystals in the air. This tells me that tomorrow will be colder. It will also be the shortest day of the year.
