September 7, 2024. The RedBlacks played the Argos this afternoon. A rare day game, it could have been fantastic, but is was cold and poured rain for pretty much the entire game. August 24, 2024. The opening kickoff of tonight's RedBlacks game, a hard fought and very entertaining win over the BC Lions. Football in Ottawa is fun again! Also did some writing this morning and got out for a bike ride this afternoon. https://flic.kr/p/2qbUTvH

August 8, 2024. The RedBlacks make their entrance into tonight's football game. It was a game not to be missed, as it went into overtime, we thought we won it, then we thought we lost it, and as we were on the way out the teams returned to play some more and it ended in a tie. October 9, 2023. We went to Montreal for the football game today. Our team was thoroughly crushes and all the Montreal fans has a great time. But we went there knowing we were going to lose, so it didn't matter so much, and it was quite a bit of fun. https://flic.kr/p/2p9fqYx

September 10, 2022. We were at a rare Saturday afternoon RedBlacks game (I would really prefer more afternoon games). Yes it was another loss, but we came within about 5 yards of winning this one. The losses have been (mostly) close all season, as though we're just a grasp away from having a good season. August 4, 2017. 20x50 Day 17 50 km to Avonmore and back. I kept the ride quick and short today to make time for the football game this evening. Yes, the home team lost, but it was a good game and thoroughly enjoyable.

November 7, 2015. It was a full house at Lansdowne Park for the last game of the regular season, one in which the home team won to claim first place in the eastern division. Not my first game here at Lansdowne park by any means - I spent four years working in this stadium in the 1970s - but my first game seeing the RedBlacks.
