January 17, 2024. The red from the rising sun was reflected in the snow coating the trees for only a few moments this morning before it climbed above the clouds. As a result I had that "Good morning starshine.." song in my head all day. Longish day working in the office; wrote an article about copyright and AI in the morning and attended a long research ethics board meeting (by videoconference - yes, I drive into the city to attend meetings by videoconference) in the afternoon. January 14, 2024. This was the back ward today - bare trees and plenty of snowfall. A pretty good storm is brewing. I stayed indoors all day and worked on my European project, making a ton of progress. I'm also waking up early because I have a 4:00 a.m. meeting tomorrow.
