April 28, 2018. Flying home from Colombia. This is the transfer to Ottawa, and I had the unusual experience of being able to see my own luggage being loaded onto the plane (and enough time so I could set up to take the photo exactly when it is being placed on the conveyor belt. April 22, 2018. Flew to Medellin today, which took longer than it should have because my flight was cancelled. Fortunately wifi in the airport lounge was excellent so I spent the delay editing photos and watching the Blue Jays game. Arrived in time for supper and to get caught in a rainstorm. April 21, 2018. I took the Transmillennial from the airport hotel where I'l staying to the city centre and wandered around on a gorgeous Saturday taking pictures and enjoying the noise and the atmosphere. I alo wrote a blog post, "The Morality of the More Powerful". https://flic.kr/p/JhPKof

April 9, 2018. By my count, two turtles equals five Iron Men. These are what I suspect are pinatas in the Whole Foods Store, where I went at lunch. Despite being ill, it was a good week, as I managed to finish three papers. Kind of makes up for the previous two weeks, where I accomplished nothing. https://flic.kr/p/JcKApS

April 18, 2018. The robin in the tree was singing up a storm this afternoon. Probably not happy songs either as the weather continues to resemble winter more than spring. April 16, 2018. OK, Icemageddon is perhaps an exaggeration, but we did have an icy coating over everything this morning, with the result that I stayed home for the day and worked on papers. Still struggling with my stupid cold. https://flic.kr/p/23uVNSy
