Pine Cone


March 5, 2022. This pine cone landed in the fork of this small tree and is just hanging there in midair. We went for a snowshoe walk on a Saturday this week because Sunday weather looked questionable. Same route as last week, though just a little bit longer. Worked through the morning, drove home at lunch (much easier!) and spent the afternoon working from home. March 2, 2024. The frozen surface of Dow's lake with a sheen of meltwater on it. This was a view as I took an 11 km ride on my new bicycle today. First ride of the year, first ride on the new bike.
