First Robin


March 10, 2022. We saw the first robin of the year today, in our crabapple tree. Poor robin, arriving before winter has ended. Feeling better today but still missed a bunch of meetings I was supposed to attend. Instead, I wrote a script to have gRSShopper save pages as Latex (an side-project inspired by one of my projects). https://flic.kr/p/2n8vLF8

March 22, 2024. Print by someone known as 'Ryan 100' in our room at the Brookstreet. I liked it, through it looked like it was water damaged. It was still the best art in the room. Worked through the morning, drove home at lunch (much easier!) and spent the afternoon working from home. Dow's Lake

March 2, 2024. The frozen surface of Dow's lake with a sheen of meltwater on it. This was a view as I took an 11 km ride on my new bicycle today. First ride of the year, first ride on the new bike.
