Supporting Ukraine


March 22, 2022. This is a house just outside town with a Ukrainian flag. The Russian invasion and Ukraine's fight for survival has been on everyone's minds over the last month. It's hard to stay focused when all this is happening. But it also highlights how important my current work on data literacy could be. Not that I expect to have a direct impact on anything, but indirectly, yes. Anyhow it's data literacy all day in any case. Interesting work but the deadlines add some stress. March 22, 2024. Print by someone known as 'Ryan 100' in our room at the Brookstreet. I liked it, through it looked like it was water damaged. It was still the best art in the room. Worked through the morning, drove home at lunch (much easier!) and spent the afternoon working from home. Dow's Lake

March 2, 2024. The frozen surface of Dow's lake with a sheen of meltwater on it. This was a view as I took an 11 km ride on my new bicycle today. First ride of the year, first ride on the new bike.
