August 4, 2026. Town Hall. This is part of a display for the library in our town hall. No, I did not go to sign up for municipal election (though it's tempting) but rather to get stickers for extra garbage bags. I feel like I'm now at the start of my post-retirement life, and job number one is to clean and restore my environment. Also went for a bike ride today. #SDDaily. URL: https://ift.tt/VZhswjl

July 13, 2025. These are the tracks at Boundary Road a few kilometers west of Avonmore. I wanted to go on a longer ride today, despite the heat. Stopped for a nice lunch at Rockin' Rondas in Avonmore, then had to race the rain on the way back. The rain won. As I stood there in the middle of the gale about 13 km from home, a guy from a nearby farm stopped and offered me a lift. Sweltering

July 12, 2025. A scene on the road just north of St. Albert on my usual cycling loop. Back from Mont Tremblant. Got out for a short ride in some very hot temperatures. I noted to myself that I've reached the point where cycling is actually effortless. P.S.
