July 29, 2026. Moon. Today was dentist day as I went in for a regular cleaning and then took my bike into the shop for some repairs. I usually go to A&W after the dentist, which I did today, but it didn't sit well with me this time; looks like my one fast food treat tradition won't survive GLP-1 treatments. #SDDaily. July 13, 2025. These are the tracks at Boundary Road a few kilometers west of Avonmore. I wanted to go on a longer ride today, despite the heat. Stopped for a nice lunch at Rockin' Rondas in Avonmore, then had to race the rain on the way back. The rain won. As I stood there in the middle of the gale about 13 km from home, a guy from a nearby farm stopped and offered me a lift. Sweltering

July 12, 2025. A scene on the road just north of St. Albert on my usual cycling loop. Back from Mont Tremblant. Got out for a short ride in some very hot temperatures. I noted to myself that I've reached the point where cycling is actually effortless. P.S.
