Larose Forest East


February 19, 2023. This is a scene from the snowshoeing trail in Larose Forest today. We went to the east side, near Limoges, where there was a fatbike event in progress, and also sled dogs (though we didn't see any). Nice warm day, and the trail was in really good shape. Worked through the morning, drove home at lunch (much easier!) and spent the afternoon working from home. Dow's Lake

March 2, 2024. The frozen surface of Dow's lake with a sheen of meltwater on it. This was a view as I took an 11 km ride on my new bicycle today. First ride of the year, first ride on the new bike.
