Larose Forest East


February 26, 2023. We were back out snowshoeing in Larose Forest east today. And also, for the first time this season, listening to the Blue Jays on a Sunday afternoon. I started out strong but lost energy quickly; Andrea meanwhile was fast throughout and had to wait for me. I got a few newsletter posts done and uploaded a video, that's it. I also changed the date of my flight to Spain to avoid a snowstorm, but sent the wrong dates to the host. Worked through the morning, drove home at lunch (much easier!) and spent the afternoon working from home. Dow's Lake

March 2, 2024. The frozen surface of Dow's lake with a sheen of meltwater on it. This was a view as I took an 11 km ride on my new bicycle today. First ride of the year, first ride on the new bike.
