Cardinal at the Feeder


February 11, 2023. This is a cardinal enjoying some feeder food in late afternoon. The last few weeks have been hard on the birds and I'm making sure there's food for them. Aside from a 3km or so walk around the neighbourhood today was mostly an indoor day puttering on the computer. https://flic.kr/p/2ohb4p4

Worked through the morning, drove home at lunch (much easier!) and spent the afternoon working from home. March 2, 2024. The frozen surface of Dow's lake with a sheen of meltwater on it. This was a view as I took an 11 km ride on my new bicycle today. First ride of the year, first ride on the new bike.
