May 24, 2019. Day 3 of the conference wrapped up at midday and or the afternoon I wandered around Vancouver's Kitsilano district, ending up at Granville Island. Flickr .
I'm On a Boat
May 22, 2019. Gave my talk this morning and spent the rest of the day conferencing. Then visited Jon Dron's boat on False Creek with some friends, sampling fine scotch and white IPA.
Room with a View
May 21, 2019. This is the view outside my room at UBC in Vancouver. I spent most of the day in that room resting up and preparing for my talk tomorrow.
Vancouver - Wreck Beach
May 20, 2019. Got up at five this morning, drove the truck into the airport and caught a WestJet flight to Vancouver. Took a nap, then walked from my room at UBC down the hill to Wreck Beach - as you can see, it was cold and rainy and the beach was bare.
