Country Roads


July 2, 2025. Country road where I have been cycling recently. Another late upload. I've been struggling the last few weeks with a medial collateral ligament injury, caused by all that walking on bad shoes in Toronto. The only thing I can do that doesn't hurt is to cycle (how ironic). Got a brace (my very first brace) and that helps. A tough lead-in to my long ride in Iceland and I'm feeling the stress. https://flic.kr/p/2rfiEpy

April 19, 2025. Small creet where it crosses the back road just north of St. Albert. The turquoise water is a sure sign it's all snow melt. Went for a 25 km ride today - planned to go further, but found I just didn't have the energy to battle the strong wind more than 10 km. Typical April cycling. https://flic.kr/p/2qYFUGY
