Senators Snowflake


February 9, 2022. We went to a Senators game just before Christmas and they were giving these out. We had tickets for a second game but it was cancelled (and since we had 2-for-one tickets, we weren't compensated at all). I felt under the weather today so I didn't do anything challenging. Time for that tomorrow. Oh yeah, and with a whimper and a smell of burning electronics, the microwave died. https://flic.kr/p/2n2XXWE

Worked through the morning, drove home at lunch (much easier!) and spent the afternoon working from home. Dow's Lake

March 2, 2024. The frozen surface of Dow's lake with a sheen of meltwater on it. This was a view as I took an 11 km ride on my new bicycle today. First ride of the year, first ride on the new bike.
