Pile of Dirt


February 16, 2022. Just part of the housing construction that's happening a few blocks from my home. But a pile of dirt reflects well my mood this week: heavy and dark. Things are piling up and of course the weather won't relent. More problems with my websites, reports are due, even dealing with a will, and I'm feeling the stress from a bunch of things. March 22, 2024. Print by someone known as 'Ryan 100' in our room at the Brookstreet. I liked it, through it looked like it was water damaged. It was still the best art in the room. Worked through the morning, drove home at lunch (much easier!) and spent the afternoon working from home. Dow's Lake

March 2, 2024. The frozen surface of Dow's lake with a sheen of meltwater on it. This was a view as I took an 11 km ride on my new bicycle today. First ride of the year, first ride on the new bike.
