Hidden Woodpecker


February 11, 2022. There was a big old woodpecker up in those dead trees in the middle, but it was on the other side and would not emerge as I took this photo. It was taken in the woods just near the NRC building in Ottawa - I took my car in for servicing at St. Laurent and then walked to the office and back, a hike of about 9 kilometers.
