March 31, 2026. Productive day. Went to the dentist for the hygienist, X-rays and a checkup and left with zero cavities. So yay! Got my final time sheets completed, and wrapped up the project with DRDC. Also we had our last team meeting. Brought home many of the speaker's gifts I've accumulated over the years - not sure where to put them but I value them. #SDDaily. URL: https://ift.tt/5veiTCE

I've been struggling the last few weeks with a medial collateral ligament injury, caused by all that walking on bad shoes in Toronto. The only thing I can do that doesn't hurt is to cycle (how ironic). Got a brace (my very first brace) and that helps. Sweltering

July 12, 2025. A scene on the road just north of St. Albert on my usual cycling loop. Back from Mont Tremblant. Got out for a short ride in some very hot temperatures. I noted to myself that I've reached the point where cycling is actually effortless. P.S. The Coming Storm

July 13, 2025. These are the tracks at Boundary Road a few kilometers west of Avonmore. I wanted to go on a longer ride today, despite the heat. Stopped for a nice lunch at Rockin' Rondas in Avonmore, then had to race the rain on the way back. The rain won. As I stood there in the middle of the gale about 13 km from home, a guy from a nearby farm stopped and offered me a lift. So the ride was cut short, but in fairness, I did not prepare for rain at all, because ti was only a 50km ride. https://flic.kr/p/2rgHpnM
