Tree and CSIS


December 5, 2023. This is the view outside the second floor window in the stairwell where I work; you can see my building, a tree, a parking lot, and the CSIS building in the background. The building fascinates me because I have never been in it and probably never will (same goes for CSEC next door) even though I presumably have enough of a security clearance to do so. https://flic.kr/p/2pm2GPy

Worked through the morning, drove home at lunch (much easier!) and spent the afternoon working from home. Dow's Lake

March 2, 2024. The frozen surface of Dow's lake with a sheen of meltwater on it. This was a view as I took an 11 km ride on my new bicycle today. First ride of the year, first ride on the new bike.
