Voyageur Provincial Park


May 20, 2022. This is the scene at the entrance to Voyageur Provincial Park, on the Ottawa River between Hawkesbury and Rigaud. I woke up early to deliver a presentation to a conference in Iran. Then I assembled all my gear and took it to the park. Then I drove home. I got on my road bike (ie., the bike without the wrecked wheel, but which could not carry a bikepacking load) and cycled the 74 km to the park, arriving (as you can see) in early evening. March 22, 2024. Print by someone known as 'Ryan 100' in our room at the Brookstreet. I liked it, through it looked like it was water damaged. It was still the best art in the room. Worked through the morning, drove home at lunch (much easier!) and spent the afternoon working from home.
