May 2, 2022. As the title suggests, it's a crow in a pine tree. I'm still learning my new camera. Focused on the data literacy appendix. It was an indoor day today, too cold to enjoy cycling. https://flic.kr/p/2niA2K6
August 8, 2021. This is my supper for today, purchased at the Kemptville farmer's market, which I found by accident after making a detour to get a new sleeping pad. As a result, today was a 71 km day (on a fully loaded gravel bike). Rain and thunder last night. https://flic.kr/p/2mg9jzi
June 14, 2021. It was a thunderstorm day today, as evidenced by this bird balancing on the tangle of wires being buffeted by the wind in front of the house. It's a young robin, just hatched this year, still a bit rough around the edges. My major accomplishment today was to update all my work passwords (not a trivial process). I also felt a bit like that bird, buffeted by the issues and discord sown in the posts and articles I read as part of my regular regimen. So, not very productive, but thoughts and feelings banked for later. https://flic.kr/p/2m5K6yk
May 29, 2021. I have no idea what these purple flowers are. I saw them on the side of the road near the eastern Larose forest on a bike ride, and they were striking (I took a number of photos). Then, from the same location (basically standing in the ditch by the side of the road) I took photos of another four types of flower and a butterfly. One more stop for lunch later on, where I got another butterfly photo, and that was my photography for the day on a brisk and very pleasant 52km ride. Visited family in the evening with some St. Hubert chicken. Very nice. https://flic.kr/p/2m2PSSr
