New Crop


May 13, 2022. This is just outside Casselman, and is typical of some of the gigantic soybean fields we have around here. It's changed a lot from when I was young and all of this was divided into fields and 100 acre farms. Today I gave a presentation on educational opportunities in the metaverse to a smart cities conference in Morocco (online of course). https://flic.kr/p/2nkuJX2

Dow's Lake

March 2, 2024. The frozen surface of Dow's lake with a sheen of meltwater on it. This was a view as I took an 11 km ride on my new bicycle today. First ride of the year, first ride on the new bike.
