Incident on Main Street


August 30, 2021. Got out for a quick bike ride after work and ran across this incident on Rue Principale involving a damaged police car, a completely wrecked car, and potentially damaged bicycles and train tracks. No idea what happened, but I sent the photo to the newspaper, so maybe there will be more. Meanwhile, it was back to work today as I cleared out my email backlog and responded to edits on a paper. Worked through the morning, drove home at lunch (much easier!) and spent the afternoon working from home. Dow's Lake

March 2, 2024. The frozen surface of Dow's lake with a sheen of meltwater on it. This was a view as I took an 11 km ride on my new bicycle today. First ride of the year, first ride on the new bike.
