Home Via Kingston


August 26, 2021. This is the Via Rail trail pulling into the Belleville station. I have good things to say about Via today. The plan was to take the train to Kingston, pick up the car, return to Belleville to pick up the bike, then drive home. Except I left my car keys in the bike at the station in Belleville. Via staff retrieved the keys and sent them on the next train to me, resulting in only a two hour delay (and zero cost). Thanks Via! https://flic.kr/p/2mjyp2r

Worked through the morning, drove home at lunch (much easier!) and spent the afternoon working from home. Dow's Lake

March 2, 2024. The frozen surface of Dow's lake with a sheen of meltwater on it. This was a view as I took an 11 km ride on my new bicycle today. First ride of the year, first ride on the new bike.
