Match 21, 2025. I attended the Equity, Diversity, Inclusion and Decolonization conference at Carleton today. I felt a bit like an outsider but it was important to me to listen firsthand to what people had to say. Interestingly, going to the conference made me feel better for the rest of the day - not because people are still struggling to achieve EDID, but just to see people who are interested and passionate about this work. March 16, 2024. Andrea walking along Pine Grove Trail in Ottawa's greenbelt. With predictions of heavy rain we thought it would be a great test of my wet weather gear for my Iceland ride. January 24, 2025. Here I am hard at work. That's Emma. She has never been a lap cat and hated to be held, but the day my mother passed she started sitting in my lap or on my desk in the mornings.
