Frost Damage


October 27, 2022. These plants are (or were) growing in the back yard, right up against the house, but as you can see, we had a couple of hard frosts this week and now they're just husks of their former shelves. Wrapped up work on the bookmarklet today, niggling over a troublesome graph update issue (which exposed a flaw in my graph code generally). Worked through the morning, drove home at lunch (much easier!) and spent the afternoon working from home. March 2, 2024. The frozen surface of Dow's lake with a sheen of meltwater on it. This was a view as I took an 11 km ride on my new bicycle today. First ride of the year, first ride on the new bike.
