Last Year's Leaves


March 24, 2021. I went for a short walk in the rain today and took a photo of these dripping leaves left over from last year. Not a bad day today, but not a great day, as I bounce back and forth between painkillers and productivity. The result was a system that accidentally sent out yesterday's newsletter and an inability to think about fixing it until tomorrow. March 22, 2024. Print by someone known as 'Ryan 100' in our room at the Brookstreet. I liked it, through it looked like it was water damaged. It was still the best art in the room. Worked through the morning, drove home at lunch (much easier!) and spent the afternoon working from home. Dow's Lake

March 2, 2024. The frozen surface of Dow's lake with a sheen of meltwater on it. This was a view as I took an 11 km ride on my new bicycle today. First ride of the year, first ride on the new bike.
