Evening Grosbeak


Nobember 8, 2020. This is a female evening grosbeak we spotted while walking on the Eastern Greenbelt Tail today. There was a flock of 8 or 10 of them. It was gorgeous out today, 20 degrees and sunshine, and we walked 11.75 km. https://flic.kr/p/2k4H65k

March 2, 2024. The frozen surface of Dow's lake with a sheen of meltwater on it. This was a view as I took an 11 km ride on my new bicycle today. First ride of the year, first ride on the new bike.
