White-crowned sparrow

May 11, 2024. New arrival in the back yard this year, the white-crowned sparrow (zonotrichia leucophrys). As you can see, they stand out as they graze for seeds on the ground. Today was the make-up day for a couple aftyernoons spent cycling this week, and so I spent the full day working and got a lot accomplished, repairing a bunch of mooc sites and moving them to the cloud server. https://flic.kr/p/2pRxV8U
