Costco Flower


October 20, 2021. I had two long meetings scheduled for the afternoon following my online course presentation so we went to Costco first thing in the morning, where I took this photo of a late fall flower missing a petal. Loved the light, loved the pale pink colour. https://flic.kr/p/2mDAFpe

Worked through the morning, drove home at lunch (much easier!) and spent the afternoon working from home. March 2, 2024. The frozen surface of Dow's lake with a sheen of meltwater on it. This was a view as I took an 11 km ride on my new bicycle today. First ride of the year, first ride on the new bike.
