Storm Watch


August 2, 2020. Our unusually hot summer has resulted in a lot of thunderstorm activity over the last week or so, including a tornado watch in the evening. Nothing came of it here in Casselman but the skies make for interesting photography. Otherwise, it was a quiet day spent inside catching up on email and watching videos. https://flic.kr/p/2jsCSB1

March 22, 2024. Print by someone known as 'Ryan 100' in our room at the Brookstreet. I liked it, through it looked like it was water damaged. It was still the best art in the room. Worked through the morning, drove home at lunch (much easier!) and spent the afternoon working from home. Dow's Lake

March 2, 2024. The frozen surface of Dow's lake with a sheen of meltwater on it. This was a view as I took an 11 km ride on my new bicycle today. First ride of the year, first ride on the new bike.
