Black Caps


June 29, 2018. We have a bumper crop this year of Rubus occidentalis, also known as blck cap raspberries. They grow all over the yard - front, back, deck - and we let them, as they're good for birds and a delicious snack. In the morning drafted a funding call for an ISED program, and in the afternoon completed my time sheets and work plan for 2018-2019. https://flic.kr/p/27zSFBQ

Dow's Lake

March 2, 2024. The frozen surface of Dow's lake with a sheen of meltwater on it. This was a view as I took an 11 km ride on my new bicycle today. First ride of the year, first ride on the new bike.
