Commute


October 5, 2015. I'm beginning to adapt to my new lifestyle. Part of it involves a commute to the office - it's about half-an-hour door-to-door down highway 417 (pictured). As the polite police officer pointed out to me just a few minutes after this photo, driving "at the speed of traffic" is slower than I had first judged, especially in construction zones. March 22, 2024. Print by someone known as 'Ryan 100' in our room at the Brookstreet. I liked it, through it looked like it was water damaged. It was still the best art in the room. Worked through the morning, drove home at lunch (much easier!) and spent the afternoon working from home. Dow's Lake

March 2, 2024. The frozen surface of Dow's lake with a sheen of meltwater on it. This was a view as I took an 11 km ride on my new bicycle today. First ride of the year, first ride on the new bike.
