Wire Rope



February 6, 2014. So this was intended to be a photo of the building in the background, but the camera is beautifully focused on the wire rope in the foreground. It was taken from the airport lounge; my flight Wednesday night was canceled so I had an unusual midday flight home from Ottawa today. The building in the background has been there since my childhood, and I always marvel how in all that time they've never finished the roof.

March 22, 2024. Print by someone known as 'Ryan 100' in our room at the Brookstreet. I liked it, through it looked like it was water damaged. It was still the best art in the room. Worked through the morning, drove home at lunch (much easier!) and spent the afternoon working from home.
