Des Pins


May 12, 2017. This is the LaRose Forest at the end of Rue Des Pins near Limoges. The road is being extended, nibbling at the edge of the forest. It needs to be protected from this sort of encroachment, or it will disappear. P.S. mosquitos out in full force.

Dow's Lake

March 2, 2024. The frozen surface of Dow's lake with a sheen of meltwater on it. This was a view as I took an 11 km ride on my new bicycle today. First ride of the year, first ride on the new bike.
