Woolly Bear


October 14, 2017. Good day today, got a bunch of newsletter articles prepared because next week will be pretty busy. Also cleaned out a lot of email. This is a woolly bear caterpillar in our back yard. It will spend the winter burrowed somewhere, depending on its own antifreeze to survive the winter. Next spring it will emerge as a tiger moth.
