Feather


February 25, 2020. I spotted this feather in the snow on my way to my car in the parking lot. It was interesting the way it actually melted into the snow. Meeting in the morning, newsletter and ethics paper in the afternoon. Also did part of a proposal for a firefighting training project. https://flic.kr/p/2iy75xf

Worked through the morning, drove home at lunch (much easier!) and spent the afternoon working from home. Dow's Lake

March 2, 2024. The frozen surface of Dow's lake with a sheen of meltwater on it. This was a view as I took an 11 km ride on my new bicycle today. First ride of the year, first ride on the new bike.
