Dead Milkweed


October 26, 2020. The cold has come, the rains have started, and they even had some snow in the city today. I was indoors all day presenting at and attending the ePIC 2020 conference on open recognition. I like doing presentations because they always push my thinking, but they can be a lot of work during a busy time. No complaints, though. https://flic.kr/p/2jZxzuB

Worked through the morning, drove home at lunch (much easier!) and spent the afternoon working from home. Dow's Lake

March 2, 2024. The frozen surface of Dow's lake with a sheen of meltwater on it. This was a view as I took an 11 km ride on my new bicycle today. First ride of the year, first ride on the new bike.
