Dogwood


May 2, 2019. This is a Red Osier Dogwood (Cornus Stolonifera) growing in the front lawn under the power pole. Grows into a shrub (if it lives). Watched the ball game (bleah) and studied the inner workings of Git on this cloudy rainy day. https://flic.kr/p/2g9gdwC

Worked through the morning, drove home at lunch (much easier!) and spent the afternoon working from home. March 2, 2024. The frozen surface of Dow's lake with a sheen of meltwater on it. This was a view as I took an 11 km ride on my new bicycle today. First ride of the year, first ride on the new bike.
