Marvelville


July 13, 2017. 20x50 Day 1. Distance: 52.96 km. This is Marvelville, which is just over 25 km from Casselman. It is best known as the home of Larry Robinson. The old ball diamond is long gone (but I remember it well) and the only reminder of this tiny town is the community centre, pictured here.

Dow's Lake

March 2, 2024. The frozen surface of Dow's lake with a sheen of meltwater on it. This was a view as I took an 11 km ride on my new bicycle today. First ride of the year, first ride on the new bike.
