Rum Road



July 26, 2014. First longish ride on the bike, 50 km in which I managed an average speed of 20 kmph for the first time ever, despite a brutal wind. This is the view from Homestead Road looking out over a small creek and Rum Road in the background. The bike ran well; I need better pedals, a slight adjustment to the seat, and I miss my speedometer - need that. And maybe a bell.

Worked through the morning, drove home at lunch (much easier!) and spent the afternoon working from home.
