Mallard



June 17, 2014. Ever since I saw the duck killed on the highway last year I've had a special place in my heart for ducks. Today was a beautiful day to see ducks, pretty busy but with room for a cycle during lunchtime. That's the pond outside out office, and that's a mallard in the middle of the pond. There's a female in the brush somewhere. This pond has had a nesting pair every year for as long as I've been here. Circle of life.

March 22, 2024. Print by someone known as 'Ryan 100' in our room at the Brookstreet. I liked it, through it looked like it was water damaged. It was still the best art in the room. Worked through the morning, drove home at lunch (much easier!) and spent the afternoon working from home.
